How do we do it?
Same Day Crowns: Step-By-Step
Just as with any dental visit, each member of our team will make you feel welcome and make sure you are comfortable. Our dental chairs have a built-in massage feature that will help relax you and you can also enjoy watching a television program or listening to music during your procedure.
First Step: Preparation of the Tooth.
The doctor may need to remove any damaged or decayed area of the tooth and then clean it.
Second Step: Digital Impressions.
With the use of CEREC digital technology, a highly precise and detailed digital image is made of the tooth using a special intra-oral 3D camera. This image is transferred to computer and becomes the blueprint for your new restoration.
Third Step: Milling the Tooth.
Your 3D image is sent to our in-office milling machine which fabricates and custom colors your restoration in just a matter of minutes.
Forth Step: Trying It On.
Your new restoration is fitted to your tooth and when the fit is perfect it is cemented into place. Your new tooth is then polished and shined to match the rest of your beautiful smile.
