Meet the Team
Tonya
Tonya Altemose relocated to Columbia from Summerville while attending the University of South Carolina, where she earned her degree in Biology. As a member of the Columbia Opportunity Resource, she serves on the Community Involvement Committee, connecting Columbia businesses with various non-profit organizations. Tonya loves college football and basketball, most importantly the Gamecocks! She loves spending time with her boyfriend and socializing with friends. In the last year and a half she assisted Dr. Griffin before advancing to the front, so she knows the ropes of the dental field. While her heart remains on the coast, Tonya enjoys the opportunities provided in the Midlands while advancing her career at Wildewood Dental Care!
Emily
Emily Ferguson is a South Carolina native, originally from Rock Hill, but moved to the Columbia area after her marriage to Ryan in 2005. She is currently a student, pursuing her degree at the University of South Carolina. Emily is an avid sports fan. She enjoys riding her horses, running and plays on several volleyball teams. She loves watching college football. Go Gamecocks! She likes to travel and has visited forty of the States and plans to visit the rest along with traveling abroad with her husband. As a treatment coordinator at Wilde Wood Dental Care for the last year, Emily enjoys all of her roles in the office but mostly loves helping patients love their smile by the cosmetic dentistry we offer.
Nicole
Nicole Spivey lives in Elgin with her husband David and young son Jaxon, where they recently moved into a new home. Nicole has been the hygienist here at WildeWood Dental Care since 2002 and enjoys her career very much! Nicole graduated from Midlands Technical college in 2000 with a Dental Hygiene degree. Nicole’s career, husband and son leave her with little free time but she prefers it that way! She loves to be busy with her family. Did we mention she is a Tennessee fan??
Stacey
Stacey Richardson has recently moved back to the Columbia area after living in Pittsburgh for 5 years. She claims to be a Steeler's fan, but her heart is with the Gamecocks! She is one of the newest members of the Wildewood cosmetic dental team. She is our scheduling coordinator and is responsible for insuring that each guest is appropriately appointed, and that their visits are comfortable and satisfying. She loves meeting our newest guests, introducing them to our state-of-the art facility, while serving our established guests with premier guest services. When not at work, Stacey enjoys working out, spending time with her family, and going to dinner with her friends.
Viola
Viola Konopka is originally from Kentucky, but has lived in Columbia for the last ten years. She has been married 15 years to Rick and they have two children, David and Lauren. She earned her BS degree in Business from the University of South Carolina Upstate. In her free time, Viola enjoys the outdoors and long hikes with her family. As the newest member of the WildeWood cosmetic dental team, Viola is enjoying the opportunity to get to know each of her patients and enjoys her role as a treatment coordinator.
